DMA, Marching illini Teaching Assistant

Jackson Parker completed his Master’s degree in Trombone Performance at the University of Alabama and his Bachelor’s degree in Instrumental Music Education at Western Kentucky University. While attending The University of Alabama, Jackson served as a graduate teaching assistant where he assisted in the daily operations of the University Bands.

While in the Kentucky area, Jackson was a pursued trombonist and instructor. He served as a brass instructor for various marching bands and performed with the Evansville Philharmonic Orchestra.

Currently, Jackson is pursuing the Doctor of Musical Arts degree in Trombone Performance while serving as a graduate assistant with the Marching Illini at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
