Color Guard

A Significant but
rewarding commitment

The Marching Illini Color Guard is part of the Marching Illini, the Nation’s Premier College Marching Band. This team is comprised of 28 members and performs at all home football games. In addition to performing at Memorial Stadium, they travel to at least one away game per football season along with any post season bowl games.  With approximately eight hours of Marching Illini rehearsals and sectionals in the fall term, the Marching Illini Color Guard is a significant but rewarding commitment.  Our members still have time to achieve fantastic grades, and also participate in the numerous activities available at the University of Illinois.
