MARCHING ILLINI IRELAND TOUR 2026

GENERAL INFORMATION

  • The Marching Illini is the first American College Marching Band to travel to Ireland for the St. Patrick’s Festival Parade in 1992
  • Additional tours of Ireland have taken place in 1995, 1998, 2004, 2008, 2014, 2018, 2022
  • Students are responsible for their travel expenses – a payment plan is set up approx 2 years in advance of each trip which takes place every 4 years
  • This year’s tour of Ireland will include approx. 370 students and staff
  • A Friends and Family Trip has been organized and we look forward to seeing you in Ireland
  • Registration for our student and family and friends trip is NOW CLOSED

TIMELINES – DEADLINES

  • Refer to your specific itinerary and payments form document for specific deadlines
  • There is some flexibility for both trips due to incoming students getting onboard
  • Registration Deadline for both students and Friends and Family trips is Friday September 19th
